How you start your day is how you live your day.
How you live your day is how you live your life.

It is important to start the day right. When I had challenges maintaining my daily routines, I used the following six morning routines to start my day right. These routines helped me keep my rest of the routines in match. I strongly recommend using these six routines. These routines will take up about an hour and will help you keep your day productive.
If you have trouble following all of them, start with one and add more as you go along.
Be Grateful
Start your day with gratitude and expect good things to happen. Be grateful that you are alive. Be grateful you are surrounded by loved ones. Be grateful for the food, shelter and clothing. Be grateful for the great things that are going to happen in that day.
Affirm your goals
Affirm your daily goals by visualizing that you reached the goals for the day. If you don’t plan the daily goals the night before, take this time to plan the goals for the day. This simple task of 20 minutes will move you in the right direction.
Fire up your metabolism
When you wake up in the morning you are dehydrated. Start your day with a glass of water. In addition to hydrating your body, water fires up your metabolism and act as your brain fuel.
Shake of stiffness
Stretching has lot of benefits; you can shake off your stiffness by performing yoga or simple stretches for the larger muscles. Based on your fitness level you can do a power routine after the stretches. Even if you’re not fit enough to do jumping jacks, start with stretches.
Find Joy
Meditation is a great way to quiet your mind and start the day right. I highly recommend starting the day with meditation. Even if you are new, start by listening to meditation music. Having a quiet time can lead to finding answers that you were searching for.
Find Inspiration
Read an inspirational book in the morning. If you are not used to reading, listen to an inspirational audio. This is by far the most important activity for the day. When you develop the habit of reading 10 pages a day in the morning, you can complete reading many books over a period of life time.
Go ahead, and start adding these routines as your power habits!
